Cultural Dress Cultural dress about the Southlands ranges from nearly nothing to laden in fine layers of silk. The tribes of the Daga'Suut tend to dress in light leathers. Halters, loincloths, sarongs, light leather trousers coupled with nothing over the torso. They believe in light dress for the climate and to help with their hidden nature from the forest creatures while on the hunt. The people of the village of Saelonna also tend to dress lightly, but generally in light swimming linens. They prefer sarongs, swimsuits, trunks, and the like, rather than the more bulky dress of their city counterparts. The elves of Thraille tend to dress in light linens, as do the workers of Zuntohki, as it is conducive to their physical lifestyle. Within the city of Tow however, these light, airy forms of dress tend to go by the wayside in favor of fashion. Nobility are known to wear fine silks, generally light, though elders tend to prefer layers upon layers of silk (this hand recently begun to change with the ascension of the Goddess, and the return of youth to many of the old). Common folk will often wear silks as their 'good attire' and light linens while working and casually relaxing. Nobility tend to wear silks at all times, a rare few have specially crafted fabrics such as satin and velvet, even gossamer available to them-these are usually considered the showpieces of the Houses. Women who are used to be the epitome of the House's fashion, sense, and action.
