Mining and Metalworking
Syntax: use axe
In order to mine the mines you will need a pick axe wielded in your
primary hand. You will then 'use' the axe.
Example:
use axe
SMELT
Syntax: smelt <metal>
Syntax: smelt <metal> <metal>
This command is used to combine two raw metals into one new
raw metal.
You can also smelt any forgable objects into raw metal.
You need to be in a room with a heat source warm enough to melt
both metals.
Example:
smelt copper tin
smelt cutlass
FORGE
Syntax: forge <weapon type>
Syntax: forge key
Syntax: forge
Syntax: forge keywords <new keywords>
Syntax: forge short <new short description>
Syntax: forge long <new long description>
Syntax: forge description
This command can be used to create weapons from raw materials.
You must have the raw material in your primary hand. It is
also useful to use an open fire to help the forging process.
You may also copy a key if you have the key you wish to duplicate
in your inventory.
Examples:
forge key
forge a bronze sword
forge
( shows a list of things you can forge )
Some trusted players will be able to re-string objects to add a little
bit of a personal touch to an object. You may only change the appearance
slightly without changing the substance of the object or the overall
object itself. An example may be something like turning a bronze dagger
into a curved bronze dagger and giving it a description with a nice
handle. This should all be role-played out and stay within reason.
Example: forge short a curved brass dagger
forge long A curved brass dagger lies here.
forge keywords brass dagger curved
forge description
